Hello there! I’m Chrysti.
This is my personal blog and I am in the process of putting things together. I’ll also be keeping a list of sites that I use as resources. I’m in a transitional stage of my life and attending college taking courses in Art New Media because I am so inspired by all of the technological (cool stuff!) advances and I’ve been a web geek for a long time.
I taught myself to design web pages and then realized if I wanted to be serious, I better take some classes and once I began, it has been like a buffet that I can’t stop eating. LOL! It’s an exciting new adventure. Don’t we need that in our lives? Yes. Yes we do.
I’m a friendly, personable, social creature with a twist of dry humor and sarcasm. I like a good laugh. My son is an only child who grew up very close with his family and has lots of cousins. I’m in my first couple of years as an empty- nester. Going into a new phase and figuring out who I am and what I want to do.

Right now my blog is in the raw stages but as a living document it will evolve. I’ve tried and failed so many times at this because I think I was focusing on how some would judge me. I wasn’t really being authentic to myself. I admired others who in spite of fear, allow their true selves to shine though. Some are careful and always on their best behavior and while I understand that perspective, it sets the bar too high for me to live up to. I’m human, ya’ll. Emotionally driven. Empathetic and sensitive; a nurturer by nature and quite eccentric. I’m too quirky to fit in a box.
My hero is Walt Disney and I adopted his mantra many years ago. Always move forward. One step at a time, one foot in front of the other. I move forward.
