I always found it easier to memorize anything that was put to music. I grew up listening to School House Rock and when it came time to memorize the preamble to the constitution for history class, it was a piece of cake because I knew the song. I also never forgot the function of a conjunction in a sentence and I know how a bill becomes a law. A lot of what I would consider boring, mundane and useless information that my mind spits out will become a savory, sensational lyric when blended with a musical twist. I can easily recall it.
Music and art are the flavor of knowledge. With anything digital, there are so many technical details that a person like me struggles to retain. In digital media the tech marries the artist, so to speak. I can remember facts when they are delivered in interesting ways. It widens the possibilities.
